October 2019 Aloma Fennell was relected to the position of President of National Older Women's Network Inc. Aloma was first elected National President in 2013 .

Also in October 2019 Aloma Fennell was voted onto the Steering Group of the Global Alliance for the Rights of Older Persons (GAROP), a UN body advocating for a "Convention for the Rights of Older Persons".

In addition (June 2020) Aloma was voted onto the Steering Group of the powerful women's organisation, Equality Rights Alliance (ERA).
